The EVO Visian ICL Procedure

EVO Visian ICL is made of biocompatible Collamer material that works in harmony with your eye. Your eye doctor will create a small opening in your cornea, used to insert and position the EVO Visian ICL. The procedure is virtually painless for most patients with numbing drops, and it typically takes less than 20 – 30 minutes. How do EVO ICLs compare to LASIK?

During EVO ICL surgery, we go inside the eye to place the lens behind the iris, while LASIK reshapes your cornea (the surface of your eye) with a laser. They both share the same goal, to help you reduce dependency on glasses and contacts.

Is EVO ICL better than LASIK?

How long does EVO ICL surgery take?

Because the ICL corrects for distance vision, it does not eliminate the need for reading glasses if you develop presbyopia (vision after 40) this occurs whether you’ve had ICLs or not.
